Friday night action

The defending 4A champion Skyview Storm showed why they are on top of the heep, pulling away in the 2nd half and defeating Evergreen 49 - 36. Composure down the stretch, and pounding inside, prove to be to much for the upstart Plainsmen. Macy Mukensnabl 12, Brooke Bowen 11, Katie Swanson 10 led the balance scoring from the "big's" of Skyview. Audrey Frazier 11 points and Justine Joudrey 10 were the leaders for Evergreen.

Heritage traveled up to Kelso and came away with a 51 - 44 victory. After taking an early 18 - 9 lead, the Timberwolve's held on to win by 7 from a scrappy Lassie team. The Lassie's were without post player Carly Perkins out with the flu for this game. Clara Russell and Tashawna Gordon had 12 each to lead the T-wolve's. Yale Pritchett's 12, Madeline Zbaeren's 11, MacKenzie Martin 13 pace the Lassie's.

Also up in Longview, the high school girl's basketball version of the "civil war", between R.A. Long and Mark Morris took place, and it didn't disappoint, with the Monarch's holding on to a one point victory 40 - 39. Kylie Farmer had 16 points for the Monarch's and the Lumberjill's were led by Tirzah Coalman with 11 points.

Battle Ground pulled away in the 4th quarter to win a hard fought game against Mt. View 57 - 45. Aubri Squires and Tori Dixon scored 17 each and Haley Grossman added 13 to led the Tiger's. The Holboke sister's lead the Thunder, Carly with 14 and Haley with 13.

Prairie rolls past Hudson's Bay 69 - 39. Emily Rowe with 13, Angela Gelhar had 11 and Lauren Goecke had 10 to led a balance attack for the Falcon's. Treneisha Doyle scored 16 for the Eagle's.

Columbia River had a 22 point 4th quarter explosion and put away Union 53 - 36. Aimee Bolton's 15 points, Laura Luther with 14 and Kass Cloyd scored 13 to lead the Chieftain's. Janae Davis had 10 for the Titan's.

Melissa Williams scores 22 as Camas defeats Fort Vancouver 71 - 30. Katelyn Henson scored 10 for the Papermaker's, and Mar'shay Moore scored 13 to lead the Trapper's.

The "Big Two" at Ridgefield lead the Spudder's past Hockinson 58 - 39. Shelby Williams scores 25 and Nichole Kates had 22 points. Ashley Haden and Amanda McCarty had 14 each for the Hawk's.

Woodland prove to be to strong for Washougal running away with a 78 - 51 victory. Charity Arn scored 17, Kylie Moses had 14 and Emily Smith led all scoring with 24 points for the Beaver's. Kendall Utter scored 13 and Alicia McElroy tossed in 21 points in defeat for the Panther's.
