Tuesday results 12/15

Evergreen defeats Camas 52 - 39. Justine Joudrey scores 16 points and leads the Plainsmen to there best start in years. Melissa Williams scores 14 for the Papermakers.

Ridgefield makes a big 4th quarter come back, and defeats La Center 61 - 58. Nichole Kates scored 31 points, and Shelby Williams lead the Spudders to victory.

Kelso beats Union 58 - 37 - Carly Perkins has 21 and Caitlynn Jackson scores 11 to lead the Lassie's. Brittany Blumenthal scores 11 for the Titan's.

Results Monday 12/14

Kelso's Carley Perkins seems to have recovered from her off season surgery as she throws in 21 points to help the Lassie's defeat Union 58 - 37. Caitlynn Jackson scores 11 points to join Carley in double figures for Kelso. Union was lead by Janae Davis with 13 points and Beth Blumenthal with 11

Heritage travels to Beaverton Oregon to play Westview HS and gets beat by 19.

Battlel Ground hands Fort Vancouver yet another lose 54 - 19. The Tiger's Tori Dixon tosses in 18 points of her own, to lead her team.

Prairie rain "3"s on the Storm hitting 15 - 37 for 45 points in their 58 - 43 victory over Skyview. The Falcons were lead by Angela Gelhar 18, Heather Corral 14, and Lauren Goecke with 18 points.

Columbia River holds Mountain View to just 2 points in the 1st quarter, then holds on to a 10 point victory 43 - 33. Kass Cloyd scores 18 points for the Chieftains. Katie Dean leads the Thunder with 10 points.

Woodland squeezes out a victory over LaCenter 59 - 51. Kylie Moses tosses in 17 points, Charity Arn 10, and Emily Smith leads all scores with 19 for the Beaver's. The Wildcat's were lead by Hannah Trigg's 15 and Lauren Baker's 12.

Friday night results

Prairie wins big against Battle Ground 73 - 40. The Falcon's had balance scoring Angela Gelhar 11 points, Heather Corral 14 points and Emily Rowe with 11. The Tiger's were lead by Haley Grossman 15, and Kiley Thomas 14.

Camas opens it up in the second half to defeat Hockinson 52 - 39. Melissa Williams hit for 23 points, and Haley Smith scored 10 to lead the Papermaker's. Amanda McCarty scores 23 for the Hawks.

Heritage came out the 3rd quarter and turn it on, to defeat Columbia River 52 - 40. The Timberwolve's were lead by Clara Russell with 17, Tashawna Gordon had 18, Emily Myers scored 14 points. The Chieftain's were lead by Aimee Bolton with 11 points.

W.F. West beats Mark Morris 59 - 39. The Monarch's were lead by Kelli Lambert with 12 points. The Bearcat's were paced by Linehan's 12 points and Bauman's 16.

Thursday 12/9/09 results

Evergreen wins a low scoring affair to Union 38 - 30. The Plainsmen's Justine Joudrey scored 18 points and Shamerica Scott had 9 points, 10 rebs., and 6 steals. Janae Davis put in 15 for Titian's.

Skyview stays undefeated in the preseason with a 73 - 54 victory over Hudson's Bay. Brooke Bowen scores 21, Katie Swanson 18, and Maddie VanLiew had 11 to lead the Storm. Alexis Gleason scored 24 and Treneisha Doyle had 14 for the Eagles.

Kelso gets back in the winning column with a 77 -29 victory over Fort Vancouver. Carly Perkins scored 20 and Caitlynn Jackson tossed in 15 for the Lassie's. Cindy Coronel put in 13 for the Trapper's.

Portland Christian, one of the best teams in the Portland area, defeated Woodland 69 - 56. Kaely Maltman 22, Brittany Niebergall 24, Jessica Beliel 17 for Portland Christian. Charity Arn's 14, Kaitlyn Moses 13, Emily Smith 12 lead the scoring for the Beaver's.

Heritage remains undefeated with a 60 - 52 victory over Ridgefield. Clara Russell scored 12, and Tashawna Gordon tossed in 18 points to lead the Timberwolve's. Shelby Williams scored 26 points for the Spudder's in defeat, Nichole Kates had 11

Columbia River squeezed out a 46 - 40 victory over R.A. Long. Brittany Landon had 17 points to pace the Chieftains, and Sadie Petersen had 10 for the Lumberjacks.

4 games played Tuesday

Mountain View hosted Union and the Titan's win 55 - 43. Kynnedy Mosley scores 14, Brittany Blumenthal has 15, and Mikyla Ogata get 12 for the Titan's. Carly Holboke leads the Thunder with 12.

Evergreen hung on for a 7 point victory over Woodland 62 - 55. Justine Joudrey had an outstanding night with 29 points 5 rebs and 4 assist, Shamerica Scott had a double/double with 16 points and 11 rebs, and Sheleena Giles also scored 11 points and had 3 blks for the Plainsmen. Kylie Moses scored 16, Kaitlyn Moses had 15 to lead the Beavers in scoring.

Prairie scores 85 and beats Kelso by 55, 85-30. Heather Corral 10, Lauren Goecke 11, Michelle Bolliger 12, and Emily Rowe scores 14 for a balance scoring attack for the Falcon's.

Washougal defeats Ft. Vancouver 54 - 38, Alicia McElroy scores 11 points, and Heidi Greear gets 13 to pace the Panthers. Jordan Gerads has 10 points for the Trapper's.

Monday Dec 7th results

Skyview jumps out early and holds on for a 51 - 39 victory over Columbia River. The Storm were lead by Brooke Bowen with 10 points and Katie Swanson with 16.

Evergreen scores BIG and defeats Fort Vancouver easily 77 - 28. Justine Joudrey had 16 and Shamerica Scott scored 14 in limited playing time. Cindy Coronel scored 12 for the Trappers .

Battle Ground open up the scoring in the second half to defeat Hudson's Bay 57 - 46. A tie score at halftime was pushed open by the Tiger's in the the 2nd half. Tori Dixon scored 18 points, Haley Grossman had 14 and Kiley Thomas scored 13 for Battle Ground. For Bay the leading scores were Ramona Vercher with 13 and Alexis Gleason scoring 20.

Hillsboro 46, Mountain View 39. Hillsboro leading scorer Alex Christensen scores 21.

An exciting 1st week in Girl's basketball

Saturday one local game and Prairie at Nike Tourney

Battle Ground defeats Hockinson 45 - 39. Kiley Thomas hit for 20 points and Aubri Squires had 10 for the Tiger's. The Hawk's were lead by Amanda McCarty's 18.

Prairie went up against one of the top teams in the country, Potter's House Christian (FL). The final score was 93 - 37. The Falcon's traditional play some of the toughest teams in the country to prepare for the league season. It's has worked well in the past. Michelle Bolliger scored 13 points for Prairie.

Friday night provides a few surprises

On the calender the Skyview vs. Camas game seem to be one everyone wanted to see. But the Storm clearly was the better team this night. 71 - 39. Brooke Bowen 16, Larissen Hamilton 15, Maddie VanLiew 15, Delaney Kesen 12 lead the balance scoring attack for Skyview. Caitlin Bower's 10 points lead the Papermaker's.

Mark Morris hit (8) 3 pointers to shock Evergreen 42 - 39. Kylie Farmer hit (5) 3 pointers for 15 points to lead the Monarch's and Christie Kirkpatrick had 12 points. The Plainsmen were lead by Audrey Fraizer with 16 points, and Justine Joudrey with 12.

Heritage held of Union to start there season (2-0) with a 56 - 47 victory. Emily Myers lead the Timberwolve's with 10 points. Janae Davis scored 13 points to lead the (1-1) Titian's.

Columbia River defeats Battle Ground 47 - 30. Kass Cloyd tops River scoring with 19 points. Kiley Thomas with 11 points paces the Tiger's.

Southridge (PTLD) rolls Prairie 70 - 36. The second round of the Nike Tourney wasn't very kind to the Falcon's. Heather Corral's 13 points and Lauren Goecke's 12 lead the scoring for Prairie. Ashenteller's 13 points lead a balance attack for Southridge.

Washougal get's off to a (2-1) record with a nice win over Stevenson 68 - 33. The Panther's have to players score over 20 points with Mary Kratovil getting 25 and Alicia McElroy scoring 23. Rutherford had 11 points for Stevenson.

Ridgefield takes Hudson's Bay 64 - 38. Shelby Williams has 16, Hannah Grenz gets 10, Nichole Kates scores a huge 27 points to lead the Spudder's. Bay was lead by Alexis Gleason's 14 points.

Woodland 57 Kalama 28. Charity Arn had 12 pts, Kylie Moses scored 10 pts, and Emily Smith scored 16 to lead the Beaver's.

Thursday night had some action.

Evergreen open the season with they're 1st victory in 3 years. A win over Columbia River at home 42 - 35. Justine Joudrey scored 17 points and Shamerica Scott had 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Plainsmen. Brittany Hewett had 13 points to pace the Chieftain's.

Mountian View rolled over Fort Vancouver 50 - 14. Carly Holboke had 11 points to lead the Thunder. The Trapper's are struggling to score points so far this year.

Prairie started the Nike Tournament in Beaverton with a victory of Central Catholic (PTLD) 55 - 41. Lauren Goecke had 14 points for the Falcon's. Kylee Schierman scored 14 and Kailee Johnson had 11 for Central Catholic.

Wednesday night scores

Hockinson jumped all over Fort Vancouver 62 - 18. Amanda McCarty had a big night with 21 points for the Hawk's.

Heritage 72 Washougal 41. Tashawna Gordon scored 14 points, Clara Russel had 12 and Emily Myers had 10 points to lead the Timberwolve's. Alicia McElroy had 13 points for the Panther's.

Battle Ground defeats Mark Morris 49 - 37 for the Tiger's opener. Tori Dixon scores 13 to pace Battle Ground.

Tuesday night results 12/1/09

A light opening night for girl's basketball, only 3 games for the local teams.

Union HS (3A) jump out to an early lead, but Hockinson HS (2A) fought back hard to tie the game, only to fall short in the 4th quarter and lose to the Titan's, 40 - 34. Janae Davis lead the scoring with 12 pts, and Brittany Blumenthal had 10 pts for Union. Ashley Haden had 14 pts to pace the Hawk's.

Washougal HS (2A) had a convincing victory over (1A) White Salmon HS 51 - 25. Alicia McElroy had a great scoring night with 28 pts and Mary Kratovil added 10 pts and played big all night for the Panther's. Aleigha Rude's 11 pts was high scorer for White Salmon.

Woodland HS (2A) 56 - Centralia (1A) 41. The Beavers playing without an injured McKenzie Heberer were lead by Charity Arn's 18 pts, and the Moses sisters Kylie 11 pts & Kaitlyn 13 pts.

Monday's Results

LaCenter HS played Rochester HS, (well sort of) 86 - 9. Marissa Moore 21, Hannah Trigg 18, Lauren Baker 17, & Katrina Chamberlain 10 for the Wildcats.
