Premier Elite players to the Next Level

Congratulations are in order for 4 of the 2009 Premier Elite alumni. There were only 4 2010 graduates on last years team, and all have received offers to go and play at the next level. This is unofficial until signings but, Haley Smith from Camas High has sign a letter of intent with Simpson University out of Redding, Calif., Kass Cloyd from Columbia River High has decided to play for Clark College. Caitlynn Jackson from Kelso High will be playing next year at Lower Columbia College and McKenzie Heberer has sign a letter of intent with Grays Harbor CC to play next year. Congratulations to all.

Spring college viewing period results

Well the two big tournaments on the west coast that hosted most of the teams from this area were Mid Summer Nights Madness "Spring Fling" out of Seattle, and Arizona Elite Spring Classic out of Phoenix. Our local teams performed well and are now focus on the summer.

Premier Elite "Black" went 3-1, losing to the Shock in the quarter final game of the Mid Summer Nights Madness Tournament. The Shock made it to the championship game. Premier Elite "Gold" got off to a tough start, but finish strong, going 2-2 for the tournament.

Local teams Pure Advantage and Northwest Elite (2 teams) also participated in the MSNM tourney and played well.

Team Concept and the Columbia Cascades participated in the Arizona Elite tournament, results where not published yet, but I'm sure they played well.

I will continue to try and keep you up todate on tournament activity throughout the club season. Please if you have some results let me know at lanpdx2003@yahoo.com Thanks...

The Spring Club Basketball season is alive & going

Most of the local club teams are getting their teams organize, having tryouts and maybe have already participated, or will be playing in tournaments within the next few weeks. GOOD LUCK to all.

I will post tournaments and scores as they come through to me. (please help keep me infomred) I'll be posting them as I get them. If you play or have a daughter play for a team let me know scores, schedules and news. Thanks.

Premier Elite went to Auburn-Riverside for their "Spring Fling" March 27 & 28. The Gold team had some struggles in the All-Star division, but they are learning and growing. The Black team lost in the Semi Final's to the eventual Champion in the Elite Division. A great start to the spring 2010 season. Congrats to Shamarica Scott, and Melissa Williams making the All Tournament Team, and Alysa Erickson All Tournament for the All-Star division.
