Mid Summer Nights Madness - Seattle

Like most teams, leaving the End of the Trail and heading up to Seattle for the MSNM tourney, it can seem a little overwhelming, but fun. All basketball almost everyday, for the first 10 out of 13 days of July. We will not be making the end of the month trips this year. Another victim of today's economy

For Premier Elite, 7 wins and 7 loses this summer, with this young team, it is very satisfying. Leaving the MSNM tourney in Seattle with a 3-2 record by winning the first two games, and then losing to the eventual champions in the quarter final game.

The Vancouver Heat finish the MSNM tourney 3-2, losing the 1st game to the eventual overall champion. They played very well after that.

The Columbia Waves went 2-3 at MSNM, the Columbia Cascades went to Chicago and played in the Huge Nike tourney there. Results weren't the best, 2-4, but the competition was excellent and the exposure, Wow...

The Big Dance doesn't let down

Lot's of college coaches wondering around, looking for that 'needle in a hay stack', and there to scout the accomplished high school talent from all over the Northwest and West Coast.

Oregon City's "End of the Trail" is the best tournament on the west coast by far. Consistently drawing the best and most talented girl's high school players from the west coast and beyond.

Premier Elite has been fortunate enough to be invited to this tournament for the past 7 years. This year, although the team struggled to a 1-3 record, our players got lots of experience and some of the players played well enough to grab a few college coaches attention and hopefully they will be hearing from them soon.

The Columbia Cascades played well as usual. Going 3-2 and capturing 4th place in the Gold division. The Columbia Waves also went 3-2 in the White division.

The Vancouver Heat went 1-3 in the Silver division.
