A light opening night for girl's basketball, only 3 games for the local teams.
Union HS (3A) jump out to an early lead, but Hockinson HS (2A) fought back hard to tie the game, only to fall short in the 4th quarter and lose to the Titan's, 40 - 34. Janae Davis lead the scoring with 12 pts, and Brittany Blumenthal had 10 pts for Union. Ashley Haden had 14 pts to pace the Hawk's.
Washougal HS (2A) had a convincing victory over (1A) White Salmon HS 51 - 25. Alicia McElroy had a great scoring night with 28 pts and Mary Kratovil added 10 pts and played big all night for the Panther's. Aleigha Rude's 11 pts was high scorer for White Salmon.
Woodland HS (2A) 56 - Centralia (1A) 41. The Beavers playing without an injured McKenzie Heberer were lead by Charity Arn's 18 pts, and the Moses sisters Kylie 11 pts & Kaitlyn 13 pts.
Monday's Results
LaCenter HS played Rochester HS, (well sort of) 86 - 9. Marissa Moore 21, Hannah Trigg 18, Lauren Baker 17, & Katrina Chamberlain 10 for the Wildcats.
