The GSHL 4A teams because of the way the playoffs were structured, faced a one game, winner goes to state, playoff against the KINGCO league out of Seattle Saturday night. Evergreen with their district championship hosted the 3rd place team from the KingCo district tournament. Unfortunately for the Plainsmen, it happen to be the #2 team in the state (via Maxpreps.com), Issaquah. They 3 point shot and pressured an underman'd and injured Evergreen team to a 57 - 29 victory. Shamerica Scott had 15 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough. Mackenzie Schiltz scored 19 points, five 3 pointers and Blaire Brady scored 16, 4 for 4 from the 3 point line for Issaquah. The season is over for the Plainsmen, but they turned around an 0-20 season, to become District Champs. CONGRATULATIONS. We wish good luck to Issaquah at state.
