Busy weekend kicks off busy week

Over this weekend, Prairie kicked off tournament play in Tennessee with a victory over Chucky Doak HS out of Tenn. 47 - 41. Junior forward Lindsey Levanen had a double/double with 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Falcon's. Mountain View lost in Hawaii 54 - 47. Caitlynn Patterson lead the Thunder with a double/double 20 points and 14 rebounds. Both teams resume tournament play today. Also over the weekend Hockinson held on for a 2 point victory over Aberdeen 54 - 52. Amanda McCarty score 21 points and Daron Dean had 10 with 14 rebounds to lead the Hawk's. There are a number of other teams playing games or are in tournaments today, Woodland in Olympia at the St. Martin's make up tourney, Union is in the Gresham, Or. tournament, LaCenter in the Ilwaco tourney, Hudson's Bay down in Stayton Or. for a tourney, Battle Ground is hosting the Tiger Tournament with Camas playing in that tournament also.
