Weekend results;

Union defeated Evergreen 56 - 26, Megan Dire, Janae Davis, Bre Sorenson all scored in double figures. Prairie defeated Battle Ground 83-33 in the "rivalry" games Friday, and Columbia River defeated a team from The Dalles 55 - 35 and Mark Morris lost to W.F. West 46 - 25.

On Saturday, a team from Juneau, Alaska blew into town with the cold weather and defeated Ridgefield 76 - 35. Lauren Landerholm's 10 points lead the Spudder's.

Hockinson and Camas hooked up for a Saturday night contest that saw the home team Hawks jump out to a 16-2 first quarter lead and hold on to defeat the Papermakers 59 - 35. The Hawks are a mature team, coach Priebe has them sharing the ball, playing tough defense and trusting each other. Lejla Mlivic's 14 points lead Hockinson, but they saw great play from a number of players, Amanda McCarty had 12, Michelle Haagen 10, Ashely Haden 9 first half points, and Daron Dean 8 points and 13 rebounds. Camas was lead by Melissa Williams 12 points and 10 rebounds.
