Tuesday results; 2/10/09

The fight for 1st place in the Trico League was really a fight against mother nature, and the cold and flu season won out. Four of the normal starters for Ilwaco sat the game out with the flu. Starters Vallori Crowston, Aimee Banuet, Marin McDonnell, and Ashley Tapio did not play for Ilwaco and with out them LaCenter was just to much, winning 55 - 33. In what should have been a real exciting game, it went off with barely a puff. But "be that as it may" that's how things are. So now with one game left against second place Castle Rock, the Wildcats sit in 1st Place. Win, and they are league champions, lose and we might have a 3 way tie for first. Hannah Trigg was feeling just fine after some early season injuries she scored 20 and Marissa Moore had 16.
