It's so important to learn to close the deal. Finish a team when you've got them down. Lessons that must be learn in order to be successful over a full season. Washougal had a 14-12 lead at half time and was playing well. Then R.A. Long turned it up in the second half and the Panther's didn't go with them. The Lumberjill's scored 29 points in the second half, 20 in the 4th quarter to defeat Washougal 41 - 26. Katie Gudgell lead the attack from R.A. Long with 12 points and Kelsey Craft added 10. The Panther's were lead by Alicia McElroy with 13.

Ridgefield continued it's winning ways with free throws in the final seconds to overcome Mark Morris 35 - 34. With Anna Pengra still feeling the effects of an injured back and not playing for the Spudder's, Mark Morris was able to make this a back and forth battle. A low scoring affair, only one player hit double figures, Angelica Kent with 10 points for the Monarch's. Ridgefield's Lauren Landerholm, Nichole Kates, and Shelby Williams did just enough to win.
